The usage line is the one people miss. Phone numbers, text messages, calls, A2P registration and pay-per-use AI draw on a prepaid wallet that charges your card, and none of that waits for the trial to end. Several one-star Trustpilot reviews from June and July 2026 describe being charged after a trial ended, so set a calendar reminder for day 13 on the day you sign up.

What you pay when the trial ends

Plan Monthly Annual Client sub-accounts Best for
Starter $97 $970 3 Freelancers and single businesses
Unlimited $297 $2,970 Unlimited Agencies running client accounts
Agency Pro $497 $4,970 Unlimited Agencies reselling HighLevel as their own software

Usage comes on top of the plan: a local number is $1.15 a month, texts $0.00747 per segment plus a carrier fee, outbound calls $0.0166 a minute and email $0.675 per 1,000. Our GoHighLevel pricing guide has every rate, and the cost calculator turns your client list into one monthly number.

30 and 60 day trials

You will see longer trials advertised. The facts as of 2026-09-29:

  • HighLevel's public pricing page offers 14 days on every plan. That is the trial behind every "Try HighLevel" button on this site.
  • HighLevel has published 30 day trial offers on some of its own landing pages. They are HighLevel promotions, they are not linked from the pricing page, and their terms are set by HighLevel. The same billing rule applies: the card is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel.
  • We found no 60 day trial on any official HighLevel page we checked.

HighLevel's affiliate rules do not allow affiliates to offer their own trials, discounts or coupons without written approval from HighLevel, and we have none. Whatever trial length you start, confirm it on HighLevel's checkout page before you enter a card.

A 14 day trial plan

Fourteen days goes fast, and one step has a waiting period you do not control. This order front-loads the slow parts:

  1. Day 1: pick the plan and start A2P registration. Choose the plan you would actually keep, since the trial gives that tier's features and upgrades later are prorated. Buy a local number ($1.15 a month) and submit the A2P 10DLC brand and campaign registration straight away. HighLevel says its Fast Track program cuts campaign review to at most 3 working days, but rejected submissions have to be fixed and resubmitted, and some public reviews describe SMS setup taking weeks. Registration costs from about $22.50 one-time plus a monthly campaign fee from $1.50, and it is charged during the trial.
  2. Days 1 to 3: load a snapshot. Import a snapshot (a saved copy of a full account setup, with funnels, workflows and calendars) into a test sub-account, or build one client account from scratch. Add a few contacts using your own phone numbers and emails only.
  3. Days 3 to 6: build one client workflow end to end. Form or calendar booking, reminder texts and emails, missed-call text back, then a review request. Test every step from your own phone. Until A2P is approved, keep texting to your own test numbers.
  4. Days 5 to 9: test Voice AI on pay per use. Build a voice agent, call it a dozen times with real questions, and read the transcripts. Then open the wallet transactions and check the charges against the rates: $0.045 a minute for the engine, $0.015 for a standard voice, the AI model's tokens and $0.01165 a minute for the phone line. Our Voice AI pricing guide shows the math.
  5. Days 8 to 11: test the white-label domain. Point a subdomain such as app.youragency.com at HighLevel with a CNAME record, add it under Agency Settings, Company, Whitelabel, and log in as a client user to see what they would see. HighLevel's help center shows white-labeling on Unlimited and Agency Pro, not Starter. If you plan to resell, read our SaaS Mode guide now, because SaaS Mode is only on Agency Pro.
  6. Days 10 to 13: cost it. Put your real client list into the calculator: clients, AI calls, texts and emails. Compare the result with what you charge. Check the Billing tab for every usage charge so far.
  7. Day 13: decide. To keep it, do nothing and the card is billed. To leave, export anything you want to keep and cancel a day early, not in the last hour.

How to cancel the GoHighLevel free trial

HighLevel's billing help article gives these steps for canceling an agency subscription:

  1. In the agency account, open Settings, then Billing.
  2. Click "Want to modify/cancel your subscription?", then Show More in the pop-up.
  3. Select Cancel Plan, choose a reason and click Next.
  4. Review the data loss warning and click "I am sure I want to cancel".
  5. Write the feedback HighLevel asks for (at least 30 words) and click Submit.

If the modify or cancel button does not appear, HighLevel's advice is to contact support through live chat. The Terms of Service also accept cancellation by support ticket or by phone at (888) 732-4197, and they state that no refunds are given for failing to cancel properly. Keep a screenshot or the email confirming the cancellation. If you signed up through another agency rather than directly with HighLevel, that agency has to cancel for you.

Refunds and what happens to your data

Refunds. HighLevel's Terms of Service say all fees are non-refundable, including subscription fees and communication charges, whether or not you used the account. They also say that, except where the law requires otherwise, HighLevel may issue or deny a refund at its sole discretion. Refund requests and billing disputes go to HighLevel's billing team (billing@gohighlevel.com, or (888) 732-4197, option 2) with your agency name, login email and invoice details.

Wallet balance. Money left in your usage wallet is not refunded automatically. The Terms say you must ask for it, and a balance left more than 30 days after cancellation becomes HighLevel's.

Your data. After cancellation, HighLevel keeps account data for 90 days, so you can reactivate and pick up where you left off. Phone numbers and A2P registrations are deleted after 14 days, and the numbers are still billed until then. After 90 days the agency account, sub-accounts and data are permanently deleted. HighLevel's billing FAQ also mentions a $27 a month Pause Plan as an alternative to canceling if you want to keep your data. Still deciding whether HighLevel is right for you? Questions

Is GoHighLevel free?

No. HighLevel has no free plan. You get a 14 day free trial on any plan, then pay $97, $297 or $497 a month, plus usage such as texts, calls, email and AI. A card is required to start the trial.

Can I get a 30 day free trial for the Starter or Unlimited plan?

HighLevel's public pricing page offers 14 days on every plan, and that is the trial our links lead to. HighLevel has also published 30 day trial offers on some of its own landing pages; those are HighLevel promotions with their own terms, not an offer from us. Whatever the length, the card on file is charged when the trial ends unless you cancel.

How much does GoHighLevel cost after the free trial?

The plan you picked starts billing automatically: Starter $97 a month, Unlimited $297, or Agency Pro $497, or ten times the monthly price for a year. Usage is billed on top from a prepaid wallet: for example $0.00747 per text segment plus carrier fees, $0.0166 a minute for outbound calls and $0.675 per 1,000 emails.

How do I cancel the GoHighLevel free trial?

In your agency account go to Settings, then Billing, click "Want to modify/cancel your subscription?", then Show More and Cancel Plan. Pick a reason, confirm the data loss warning, write the required feedback and submit. If you cannot see the cancel button, contact HighLevel support by live chat; the Terms of Service also allow canceling by support ticket or by calling (888) 732-4197. Do it before the trial ends.

Is there a GoHighLevel 60 day free trial?

Not on HighLevel's pricing page, which offers 14 days, and we did not find a 60 day offer on any official HighLevel page we checked. Some third-party pages use "60 day" in their titles; check the trial length on HighLevel's own checkout page before you enter a card.

Do you need a credit card for the GoHighLevel free trial?

Yes. HighLevel's checkout says you will be billed with the card on file after the trial, and its trial page says no subscription fee is processed on the day you sign up. Communication charges, such as texts and calls, may be charged to that card during the trial.
