The short answer

GoHighLevel vs ClickFunnels is a choice between an agency platform and a funnel platform. ClickFunnels starts at $97 a month for 1 workspace, 2 team members and 10,000 contacts, with funnels, checkout, courses and email built for one brand selling online. HighLevel also starts at $97, but its $297 Unlimited plan covers unlimited client sub-accounts, users and contacts, adds built-in texting and calling, and can be white-labeled. Pick ClickFunnels to sell your own courses or products. Pick HighLevel to run marketing for local business clients.

Independent comparison. We are a HighLevel affiliate, not HighLevel or ClickFunnels, and nothing here speaks for either company. Prices and limits come from each vendor's pricing page and help center.

Plans and prices

ClickFunnels sells four plans, and each one caps workspaces, team members, contacts, monthly emails and courses. HighLevel sells three plans with no contact or user caps, and bills communication by use from a prepaid wallet. Figures below are from the ClickFunnels pricing page and HighLevel's pricing page.

ClickFunnels plan Monthly Annual Workspaces Team Contacts Emails/mo Courses

Agency Pro $497 $4,970/yr Unlimited Unlimited Agencies reselling HighLevel as their own software

The trade is simple. ClickFunnels bundles email volume into the price and limits how many people and brands you can have. HighLevel removes the limits and meters the activity instead. Launch's 50,000 included emails would cost about $33.75 a month on HighLevel at $0.675 per 1,000. For the full list of HighLevel usage rates, see our GoHighLevel pricing guide.

Funnels, courses and checkout

This is ClickFunnels' home ground. Every plan includes unlimited funnels, the drag-and-drop ClickFunnels editor, Smart Checkout, A/B testing on funnels and emails, an AI funnel builder, websites, blogs and a customer center. Plans also include online stores (1 to 20), courses and communities (3 to 20 each), and from Scale up, a training library called FunnelFlix. Scale and higher add a custom code editor and webhooks with full API access.

HighLevel covers the same ground as one part of a bigger platform: a website, funnel and landing page builder, webinar funnels, order forms with one-click upsells and downsells, forms, surveys and quizzes, memberships and courses, communities, an e-commerce store, blogs and Funnel AI. It takes payments through Stripe, PayPal, NMI, Authorize.net, Square and others.

Both can run a sales funnel end to end. The difference is focus. ClickFunnels' plans, training and add-ons point at one business selling its own offers. HighLevel's funnel builder exists so an agency can build pages for each client inside that client's sub-account, next to the CRM, phone system and reviews.

CRM depth and automation

ClickFunnels includes contacts, an Opportunities app for deals, appointment booking and MessageHub, a shared inbox for chat, email, SMS, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Telegram and LINE. Workflow automations start on the Scale plan, with advanced workflows higher up.

HighLevel's CRM goes further for service businesses: multiple sales pipelines, smart lists and segmentation, lead scoring, custom objects and companies, custom dashboards, calendars with round robin and paid bookings, review requests and AI review replies, a social planner, invoices and estimates, and a visual workflow builder with triggers and actions. Snapshots copy a whole account setup, such as funnels, workflows and calendars, into a new sub-account, which is how agencies roll out the same system to many clients.

Texting, calling and AI

This is where the two differ most for local businesses, whose customers call and text.

ClickFunnels can send and receive texts through MessageHub, but you connect your own Twilio or Bandwidth account and pay that provider directly. Its pricing page does not list phone calling or an AI phone agent. Its AI features are an AI funnel builder, writing tools (1 million to 10 million words by plan) and an AI coach.

HighLevel has a phone system built in. Local numbers are $1.15 a month, texts $0.00747 per segment plus carrier fees, and calls $0.01165 a minute inbound and $0.0166 outbound, with IVR, recording, call tracking and missed-call text-back. Our LC Phone pricing guide has every rate. On top of that, Voice AI agents answer and place calls, book appointments and update the CRM. They cost $0.06 a minute before AI tokens and phone charges, or $97 a month per client for unlimited use under fair use. See the Voice AI pricing breakdown for cost per call.

White-label and client accounts

ClickFunnels does not offer white-labeling. Its pricing page lists none, and a public feature request titled "The Ability to White Label ClickFunnels 2.0" is still open on its feedback board. The Dominate plan lists branding removal, which is not the same as rebranding the software for your clients.

ClickFunnels does support client work through workspaces (sub-accounts), and its help center documents an Agency App on an Agency Plan that creates up to 50 client workspaces with client-only permissions. That plan is not listed on the public pricing page, and the help guide does not describe any rebranding: clients are invited by email from ClickFunnels.

HighLevel lets agencies put the app on their own domain with their own logo, and on Agency Pro ($497 a month) SaaS Mode lets you sell subscriptions to the platform under your brand, create client accounts automatically at checkout, and rebill usage with a markup. Our SaaS Mode guide covers pricing and margins.

What 10 client accounts cost

For an agency with 10 clients, the sticker prices line up: ClickFunnels Optimize and HighLevel Unlimited are both $297 a month.

  ClickFunnels Optimize HighLevel Unlimited
Monthly price $297 $297
Client accounts 10 workspaces Unlimited
Team logins 10 Unlimited
Contacts 150,000 Unlimited
Email 750,000 a month included About $20.25 a month at 3,000 emails per client
Texting and calls Paid to your own Twilio or Bandwidth account Billed by use, can be passed to clients at cost
Client number 11 Move to Dominate ($5,997/yr) or ask about the Agency Plan No change to the plan
Our comparison from list prices checked 2026-09-29.

ClickFunnels is the more predictable bill if your clients send large email volumes and do not need a phone system. HighLevel is cheaper as you add clients and staff, and it replaces the separate texting provider. Run your own client mix through the GoHighLevel cost calculator.

Who each one fits

Pick ClickFunnels if

  • You are a course creator, coach, author or product brand selling your own offers.
  • You want email volume included in a fixed monthly price.
  • Checkout, upsells, A/B tests and an affiliate program for your own products matter most.
  • You run a handful of brands, not dozens of clients.

Pick HighLevel if

  • You are an agency serving local businesses such as dentists, trades, med spas or real estate teams.
  • Your clients need texting, calls, reviews and appointment booking in one place.
  • You want to add clients without adding seats or contact tiers.
  • You want to sell the software under your own brand.

Moving from ClickFunnels to HighLevel

HighLevel's help center has a ClickFunnels migration guide, last updated in August 2026. It lists seven things to move: courses and products, payment integrations, forms, websites and funnels, store funnels, email marketing, and contacts. In summary:

  1. Funnels and websitesDocument each funnel and page, then use HighLevel's funnel import from ClickFunnels.
  2. ProductsExport products from ClickFunnels 2.0 as a CSV and import them under Payments, Products in HighLevel.
  3. PaymentsReconnect Stripe, NMI or Authorize.net in the HighLevel sub-account.
  4. Courses and emailDocument course structure, workflows and templates, then rebuild them in HighLevel. These do not import automatically.

Questions

What are the main differences between ClickFunnels and GoHighLevel?

ClickFunnels is built for one brand selling online: funnels, checkout, courses and email, with contacts and workspaces capped by plan. HighLevel is built for agencies running many clients: unlimited sub-accounts on the $297 plan, unlimited contacts and users, built-in texting and calling, AI phone agents and white-label. ClickFunnels includes email sends in the plan; HighLevel bills email, texts and calls by use.

Is GoHighLevel cheaper than ClickFunnels?

At the entry level they cost the same: $97 a month each. For agencies the answer depends on client count. ClickFunnels Optimize and HighLevel Unlimited are both $297 a month, but Optimize stops at 10 workspaces and 10 team members, while Unlimited has no sub-account or user limit. HighLevel adds usage costs for email, texts and calls that ClickFunnels does not charge in the same way.

Can you white-label ClickFunnels?

No. ClickFunnels' pricing page lists no white-label option, and "The Ability to White Label ClickFunnels 2.0" is still an open request on its public feedback board. The Dominate plan includes branding removal, which is not the same as running the software under your own brand. HighLevel supports white-labeling and, on Agency Pro, reselling the platform through SaaS Mode.

Does ClickFunnels have texting and phone calls?

Texting, yes, if you bring your own provider: ClickFunnels' MessageHub connects an SMS inbox through your own Twilio or Bandwidth account. Phone calling is not listed on its pricing page. HighLevel has a built-in phone system for texts and calls, billed at $0.00747 per text segment and $0.0166 per outbound minute in the US, plus Voice AI agents.

Which is better for course creators?

For a creator selling their own courses and products, ClickFunnels is the more focused tool: the plans include email sends, courses and communities, stores, A/B testing and, on higher plans, an affiliate center, and its training library is aimed at selling online. HighLevel also hosts courses and memberships, but most of its value is in client management, which a solo creator may not need.

Can I move my funnels from ClickFunnels to GoHighLevel?

Yes. HighLevel's ClickFunnels migration guide covers importing funnels into a HighLevel sub-account, exporting products from ClickFunnels 2.0 as a CSV and importing them, and reconnecting Stripe, NMI or Authorize.net. Courses have to be documented and rebuilt in HighLevel, and store funnels and email sequences are recreated by hand.
