GoHighLevel vs Vendasta is a choice between two ways of paying. Vendasta has no fixed subscription: you commit to a monthly minimum spend on its wholesale products: $99 on Starter with no contract, and $499 on Professional or $999 on Premium, both on a one-year contract. White-label starts at Professional. HighLevel charges a flat $97, $297 or $497 a month, month to month, and bills texts, calls, email and AI by use. Vendasta suits agencies that resell a catalog of products and services. HighLevel suits agencies that build and run the marketing system themselves.

How each one charges
Vendasta describes each plan as a monthly minimum. At signing you pay a platform fee equal to the minimum, which covers the first month. From month two, every dollar you spend on qualifying Vendasta products takes a dollar off the subscription, down to $0. Qualifying products include Conversations AI, Reputation AI, Social Marketing, Campaigns Pro, WordPress Hosting, Local SEO, Yesware Premium and Vendasta's setup services. Third-party marketplace products do not count, and unused amounts do not roll over. The details are on the Vendasta pricing page.
In practice that means Vendasta's platform is free if you resell enough of its own products, and costs up to the full minimum if you do not.
HighLevel charges a flat monthly plan and bills communication from a prepaid wallet: $0.00747 per text segment, $0.01165 per inbound call minute, $0.675 per 1,000 emails, and AI by use or by per-client plan. Vendasta's plans also include Snapshot Report sales assessments (10, 25 or 50 a month) and recorded meeting minutes for its AI Sales Assistant (250, 500 or 1,000 a month). Professional adds API access and premium reports; Premium adds a multi-location client portal and executive reports.
Marketplace and reselling
Vendasta's marketplace is the core of its offer. It lists more than 250 products and services, from SEO and listings to websites, advertising and voice and telephony, which you buy at wholesale and resell to clients at your own price. You can package them into a branded storefront so clients order products themselves. Vendasta also sells done-for-you setup services for its AI products.
HighLevel has no comparable wholesale catalog of third-party services. Its reselling works three ways: pass texts, calls and email to clients at cost (Unlimited) or with your markup (Agency Pro); resell HighLevel's own add-ons, such as WhatsApp, online listings or the branded client portal app, at a price you set; or sell the whole platform as your own software through SaaS Mode. The marketplace in HighLevel is an app marketplace for integrations, not a fulfillment catalog.
One overlap: Vendasta features Search Atlas in its marketplace, and HighLevel's SEO add-on ($79 a month per sub-account) is powered by Search Atlas.
White-label
Vendasta: Starter is co-branded. From Professional you can show your logo in the client-facing Business App, rename products, use custom domains and remove all mention of Vendasta. Vendasta says its AI Employees are fully white-labelable too, so an AI receptionist can be sold as your own product.
HighLevel: the desktop web app runs on your domain with your branding (HighLevel's plan comparison shows this on Unlimited and Agency Pro). A branded mobile app is a $497 a month add-on. Agency Pro adds SaaS Mode: build your own plans, sell them from your site, create client accounts automatically at checkout and rebill usage with a markup. The practical difference is commitment. White-label on HighLevel starts at $297 a month with no contract. On Vendasta it starts with a $499 monthly minimum on a one-year contract, though that minimum can be covered by products you resell.

Comparing totals is tricky because Vendasta's minimum is money you spend on products you then resell, while HighLevel's plan fee buys only the platform. The table shows what each commits you to before you sell anything.

If you plan to put an AI receptionist on all 10 clients, the numbers converge. On HighLevel, AI Employee Unlimited for 10 sub-accounts is $970 a month on top of the plan, plus phone minutes. On Vendasta, Conversations AI for each location counts toward your minimum, so once that spend reaches $499 a month the platform fee drops to $0. Vendasta does not publish those wholesale prices. Do I need both GoHighLevel and Vendasta?
Usually not. Both give each client a CRM, an inbox, review tools and AI, so running both means paying twice for overlap. The narrow case for both is an agency that runs client CRM and automation in HighLevel but wants to resell specific products from Vendasta's marketplace. Third-party marketplace purchases do not count toward Vendasta's monthly minimum, so check the math before adding a second platform.
Is Vendasta a good alternative to GoHighLevel?
Yes, for agencies whose business is reselling a catalog: listings, reviews, social, SEO, websites and AI employees bought at wholesale and marked up. Can you white-label Vendasta on the Starter plan?
No. Starter is co-branded with Vendasta. White-label, including your own logo, a renamed Business App, custom domains and no Vendasta branding, starts on Professional at a $499 monthly minimum on a one-year contract.
What happens if I do not hit the Vendasta minimum spend?
You pay the difference as a platform subscription. At each monthly renewal, Vendasta checks your qualifying product spend since the last renewal and discounts the subscription by that amount, down to $0. Unused amounts do not roll over, and third-party marketplace products do not count.
Does Vendasta or GoHighLevel charge per user?
Vendasta includes unlimited client accounts and client users, but limits your own team: 1, 5 or 10 seats by plan, then $30 to $65 per extra seat a month. HighLevel includes unlimited users, including your team, on every plan.
