The short answer

GoHighLevel vs Service Fusion comes down to what you need to run. Service Fusion is the better fit for growing trade companies with many users that want job management, inventory and job costing at a flat monthly price. HighLevel is the better fit for companies that need the marketing Service Fusion does not list: funnels, websites, email and SMS campaigns, review requests and AI call answering. Service Fusion's Starter plan is $245/mo billed monthly, or $208/mo billed annually; HighLevel starts at $97 a month with usage billed on top.

Service Fusion is field service management software owned by EverCommerce, covering customer management, estimates and jobs, scheduling and dispatch, invoicing, payments, QuickBooks integration and reporting. Its homepage lists HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, locksmith, garage door, pool service, remodeling, cleaning and solar among its trades and cites 6,500+ customers. Every plan includes unlimited users, and ServiceCall.ai, a VoIP phone and call tracking product, is sold as an add-on. Email campaigns, websites and review requests do not appear on its pricing page.

Where Service Fusion is stronger

Service Fusion advantages

  • Unlimited users on every plan, so adding technicians or office staff does not raise the subscription.
  • Month-to-month plans, with 15% off for paying annually.
  • ServiceCall.ai adds VoIP numbers, call tracking tied to jobs and estimates, call recording and transcription, and Ring-a-Tech routing that keeps personal numbers private.
  • Pro includes eSign documents, progress billing, recurring invoicing and a customer web portal.

Where Service Fusion falls short

  • The entry plan is $245/mo on monthly billing, more than twice HighLevel Starter at $97/mo.
  • No email campaigns, websites, funnels or review requests are listed, so marketing needs another tool.
  • Its phone product does not advertise an AI agent that answers callers, which HighLevel Voice AI does.
  • Prices for ServiceCall.ai and GPS fleet tracking are not published.

Where HighLevel is stronger

HighLevel puts CRM, funnels, websites, two-way texting, calling, review requests, courses and an AI phone agent in one login, and agencies can put their own brand on it from the Unlimited plan. The trade-off is a steeper learning curve and usage charges on top of the plan, which our cost calculator adds up. For the full picture read our GoHighLevel review.

Who should pick which

Choose Service Fusion Growing trade companies with many users that want job management, inventory and job costing at a flat monthly price.
Choose HighLevel Companies that need the marketing Service Fusion does not list: funnels, websites, email and SMS campaigns, review requests and AI call answering.

Switching

Service Fusion runs jobs and invoices while HighLevel runs marketing, so the practical move is adding HighLevel rather than replacing Service Fusion. Export your customer list as CSV and import it into HighLevel, where contacts merge by phone or email and can be tagged for campaigns such as maintenance reminders. If a number moves off ServiceCall.ai, its FAQ notes that porting typically takes 1 to 4 weeks, with call forwarding possible in the meantime.

Verdict

Service Fusion is a solid choice for a trade company tired of paying per user: every plan includes unlimited users, at $245, $382 or $627 a month on monthly billing, less on annual. It covers jobs, dispatch, invoicing, inventory and job costing, and adds a VoIP phone through ServiceCall.ai. It does not list marketing tools. HighLevel has the opposite shape: strong on funnels, campaigns, reviews and Voice AI from $97/mo, light on field operations. Choose by the problem you have, running jobs or getting more of them booked, and expect some companies to need both.

Questions

Is Service Fusion more expensive than GoHighLevel?
At list price, yes for the base plan. Service Fusion Starter is $245/mo on monthly billing or $208/mo billed annually, while HighLevel Starter is $97/mo and Unlimited is $297/mo. Both include unlimited users. The comparison is not like for like, though: Service Fusion's price buys field operations tools, and HighLevel's buys marketing and CRM tools, with texts, calls and email billed by use.
Does Service Fusion have an AI receptionist?
Its site does not describe one. ServiceCall.ai, the phone add-on, provides VoIP numbers, call tracking, recording, voicemail and call transcription, and agent performance stats; its page mentions artificial intelligence but not an agent that talks to callers. HighLevel Voice AI answers inbound calls around the clock, books appointments during the call and can transfer to a person, priced per minute or through a monthly AI Employee plan.
Does Service Fusion include marketing tools?
Its pricing page does not list email campaigns, a website builder, online review requests or funnels. The plans focus on customer management, jobs, dispatch, invoicing and payments, with text messaging alerts on every plan. Businesses that want marketing automation usually add a separate platform. HighLevel includes email and SMS campaigns, websites, funnels, review requests and workflows on every plan.
Does ServiceCall.ai work without Service Fusion?
Not fully. The ServiceCall.ai FAQ says a Service Fusion subscription is required to use all of its features, that the standard plan includes up to 2,000 minutes per user pooled across active users, and that charges are added to your Service Fusion bill. HighLevel's phone system bills by use instead: $1.15/mo per local number and $0.0166 per outbound minute in the US.
