  1. Tip 1Keep a price list of base packages and each add-on so the agent can build a quote the same way you would.

Rules to watch

Honest reviews only. The FTC's reviews rule, effective October 21, 2024, covers fake and manipulated reviews. Ask every client for a review the same way, never write reviews on a client's behalf or have friends post them, and do not tie any perk to a five-star rating.

Consent for promo texts. Texting past clients about open dates or holiday party specials is marketing, and the FCC says commercial texts need written consent. Add a consent checkbox to the contract or planning form, and keep promotions apart from event logistics texts.
