The short answer

GoHighLevel Ad Manager lets a sub-account build and track Facebook, Instagram, Google and LinkedIn ad campaigns from one dashboard inside HighLevel, with lead forms feeding straight into the CRM. HighLevel now charges agencies $0 for it, with no platform or subscription fee, and agencies can give it to clients free or resell it at a price they choose. Ad spend is separate: each sub-account pays its own budget to the ad networks. Connecting Meta requires a Business Portfolio, an ad account and a Facebook Page.

What Ad Manager can do

Ad Manager covers campaign creation, audience targeting, lead forms, templates and performance reporting for four networks. Meta campaigns follow Meta's own structure of campaign, ad set and ad, and creating a campaign sets up one ad set and one ad to start from. Carousels take up to 10 cards. Google campaigns let you write the ad, set a daily budget and target by geography and language. The dashboard tracks impressions, clicks, conversions and spend. In September 2026 HighLevel added Meta's campaign budget optimization, which gives more control over whether budget sits at campaign level so Meta can spread it across ad sets.

Lead forms that land in the CRM

The main reason to run ads from HighLevel rather than natively is what happens after the click. Facebook and Instagram lead ads and LinkedIn lead forms map their fields into HighLevel contacts, where a workflow can text the lead, add them to a pipeline or book a call within seconds. LinkedIn forms built in Ad Manager support up to 12 prefilled profile fields, 3 custom questions, 20 hidden fields and 5 consent checkboxes. HighLevel's advice is to keep forms short, because fewer fields tend to finish more often.

Pricing history and what changed

Ad Manager was not always free. An earlier HighLevel changelog set three agency plans: Standard at $10 per sub-account per month, Utility at $97 a month for unlimited sub-accounts, and a Founder's Offer at $970 a year. On Standard, a client paid the agency $29 a month and the agency kept $19. HighLevel's help center now states that Ad Manager is available to agencies at a $0 base cost. Agencies that bought Utility or Founder's plans still see those plan cards, but the agency cost is $0 and existing client subscriptions continue until the agency changes them.

Reselling Ad Manager to clients

Resale is set in the Reselling tab of agency settings, and the agency's Stripe account must be connected first. Clients do not need to be enabled one by one: they open Ad Manager from the Marketing menu in their sub-account and activate it at the agency's price, which creates a subscription between the client's card and the agency's Stripe account. Because HighLevel's cost is zero, whatever the agency charges is margin. An agency can also fold it into a managed ads retainer, where the management fee is the real revenue.

When to use it

Ad Manager suits local businesses and agencies that want ads, leads and follow-up in the same place, and that run fairly standard lead generation, traffic or awareness campaigns. For an advertiser who depends on a feature only available in Meta Ads Manager or Google Ads itself, check that Ad Manager supports it before moving the account. Either way, keep billing clear with the client: HighLevel never touches the ad budget, so the client's card on the ad account pays the networks directly.

Questions

Is GoHighLevel Ad Manager free?
Yes, for agencies. HighLevel's help center says Ad Manager is available at a $0 base cost with no platform or subscription fees. Agencies can pass it to clients for free or resell it at their own price. The ad spend itself is not included; Meta, Google and LinkedIn bill each ad account directly.
Does HighLevel take a cut of my ad spend?
No. HighLevel's overview says each sub-account is responsible for its own ad spend budget, which is paid to the ad networks. HighLevel does not charge a percentage of spend, and since the move to $0 pricing it does not charge a platform fee either. Only the agency's own resale price, if any, is added.
What do I need to connect Facebook to Ad Manager?
HighLevel lists three requirements: access to a Meta Business Portfolio (formerly Business Manager), a Meta ad account and a Facebook Page. Google needs a Google Ads account and LinkedIn needs a LinkedIn advertising account. Each client should connect accounts they own, so the ad history stays with the business if the agency changes.
Can I charge clients for Ad Manager?
Yes. Set a price in the Reselling tab with your agency Stripe account connected. When a client activates Ad Manager in their sub-account, a subscription is created from their card to your Stripe. HighLevel's cost to you is $0, so the full amount is margin. You can also set it to free.
