What a HighLevel store includes

Products are created once under Payments, with pricing, variants, descriptions, images and video, then marked to show in the online store. The store has five pages (product list, product details, cart, checkout and thank you), each customizable, including a custom product details page. Documented extras include manual and smart collections, a search bar, wishlists, customer login, recurring products and subscriptions, pickup in store, billing address collection and product reviews with a workflow trigger. A sub-account can run more than one store, and a store can also be added directly to a funnel.

Shipping and fulfillment

Shipping zones are built from countries or specific states and provinces, and a state can only belong to one zone. Rates can be price-based (for example free over $500, otherwise $10) or weight-based. For live carrier rates, the ShipStation integration syncs orders automatically, shows real-time options from 50+ carriers at checkout, prints labels and sends tracking numbers back to customers. It needs live ShipStation API credentials, at least one ship-from location, package options enabled for every active carrier and a store currency that matches ShipStation. Printify and Shippo integrations and packing slips are also documented.

Digital products

Downloadable products are attached to product variants, with up to 10 files per product and 100 MB per file across images, audio, video, documents and ZIP files. Buyers reach their files from an Access Downloads button in the order confirmation email, an optional button on the thank-you page, or the order history in their store account, and every download is protected by a one-time code sent to the checkout email. The order confirmation email for stores must be switched on, and variants must be saved after files are uploaded, or buyers will not get their files.

Selling beyond the storefront

Google Merchant Center sync pushes eligible store products to Google with prices and availability kept current, and adds new products automatically. It supports one-time payment products only, each store and Merchant Center account can be in one active mapping, and the store domain must be verified with Google. Abandoned checkout recovery sends one automated email, 10 hours after abandonment by default, only when the shopper entered an email address. HighLevel notes it covers store checkouts only, not funnel or website order forms, and multiple reminders are not supported, so add a workflow if you want a sequence.

Moving from Shopify

HighLevel's Shopify migration imports products, collections, customers who have ordered, order history and transactions, then keeps chosen data syncing. On Shopify's Basic plan, customer data may not be available through Shopify's API, so only products and collections come across unless the store upgrades. Checkout pages, payment settings, workflows and customer follow-up must be rebuilt by hand. Stores that stay on Shopify can instead connect it to HighLevel to sync contacts, orders and transactions for automation, though HighLevel is phasing out the old Shopify abandoned cart trigger.
