The short answer
GoHighLevel for florists works as one system for calls, texts, bookings, reviews and follow-up. A single flower shop fits on Starter at $97 a month. With our assumed volumes the all-in bill is about $204 a month. An agency running ten florists on Unlimited pays about $137 per business.
Florists live by the calendar: Valentine's Day, Mother's Day and funeral orders arrive in waves, and a small shop cannot answer every call while designing arrangements. Phone orders still matter, especially sympathy orders, where callers want reassurance that the flowers will reach the service on time. Wedding clients need consultations and quotes months ahead. When calls go unanswered in a busy week, the order simply goes to another shop or a website, and it rarely comes back.
Why florists miss leads
These are the calls and messages a typical flower shop has to catch. Each one is a job, a booking or a sale if someone answers quickly:
- Same-day delivery orders
- Sympathy and funeral arrangements
- Delivery area and cutoff times
- Wedding and event flower consultations
- Order status and delivery confirmation
- Holiday pre-orders
- Care instructions and substitutions
Five workflows to build first
- Holiday pre-order campaignWeeks before Valentine's Day and Mother's Day, opted-in customers get an email and text with pre-order options and delivery cutoffs, which spreads orders out and lets the shop plan stem counts.
- Sympathy order handlingFuneral orders are tagged by service date and funeral home. The sender gets a delivery confirmation text, and a workflow keeps them off promotional messages for several weeks afterward.
- Wedding consultation pipelineWedding inquiries book a consult on the calendar, receive a proposal with pricing through Documents & Contracts, and move to signed and deposit paid, with a final details form 30 days out.
- Occasion remindersCustomers who send birthday or anniversary flowers get a reminder text a week before the same date next year with a reorder link, as long as they agreed to marketing messages.
- Delivery confirmationWhen staff mark an order delivered, a workflow texts the sender a confirmation, which heads off the where-are-my-flowers calls that pile up on holidays.
HighLevel's workflow builder runs all of these, and missed call text back is usually the quickest win.

Adding an AI receptionist
Voice AI can answer the calls above around the clock, book them into the calendar and pass the hard ones to a person. On our assumptions it costs about $0.24 per answered call, phone line included. What the AI should handle, what it should hand to staff and a sample call are in our guide to an AI receptionist for florists.
Rules to watch
Delivery promises. The FTC's Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule covers most goods ordered by phone and requires a reasonable basis for any shipping time a seller states. Keep the AI's delivery cutoffs matched to what the shop can actually do, especially on Valentine's Day.
No card numbers over the phone. PCI guidance says card security codes must not be stored after authorization, and call recordings and transcripts can end up storing them. The AI should never take card details by voice; texting a payment link keeps card data off the call entirely.
General information, not legal advice. Check the rules for your state with a qualified professional.
Software florists often use
BloomNation, Teleflora, FTD, Floranext, Details Flowers Software. Check the HighLevel marketplace or ask HighLevel before assuming any of these connect directly.
Which plan
One flower shop fits on Starter at $97 a month, which includes 3 sub-accounts. Move to Unlimited at $297 if you run more than three locations or brands. Agencies serving many florists should compare Unlimited with Agency Pro and SaaS Mode, which lets you resell and mark up usage.
