The short answer

GoHighLevel vs Brevo comes down to what you need to run. Brevo is the better fit for A business that wants email, SMS, WhatsApp and a simple deal CRM from one vendor, with an API its developers can build on. HighLevel is the better fit for agencies and local service businesses that also need calling, AI phone answering, funnels, courses and review requests under their own brand. Brevo's All plans plan is See vendor pricing page; HighLevel starts at $97 a month with usage billed on top.

Brevo is a customer messaging platform that combines email marketing with SMS, WhatsApp, live chat and a sales CRM. Its developer documentation describes one API for marketing and transactional email, text and WhatsApp messages, contacts and segments, ecommerce orders, chat conversations and CRM deals. That breadth makes it a closer match to HighLevel than a pure newsletter tool. Its pricing page builds prices in the browser and its help center blocked plain requests, so current plan prices are not shown here.

Where Brevo is stronger

Brevo advantages

  • Email, SMS and WhatsApp run from one account and one API, including transactional messages such as receipts.
  • A CRM with deals sits next to marketing, so sales and campaigns share the same contacts.
  • Live chat conversations are part of the platform rather than a separate product.
  • Developers get a documented REST API covering messaging, contacts, ecommerce data and custom objects.

Where Brevo falls short

  • We could not confirm plan prices, so budgeting needs a visit to Brevo's pricing page; HighLevel publishes fixed plan prices.
  • Phone calling, AI voice answering, review requests and course hosting are not listed in the documentation we checked.
  • No white-label or agency sub-account model is listed, while HighLevel's Unlimited plan covers unlimited client sub-accounts.

Where HighLevel is stronger

HighLevel puts CRM, funnels, websites, two-way texting, calling, review requests, courses and an AI phone agent in one login, and agencies can put their own brand on it from the Unlimited plan. The trade-off is a steeper learning curve and usage charges on top of the plan, which our cost calculator adds up. For the full picture read our GoHighLevel review.

Who should pick which

Choose Brevo A business that wants email, SMS, WhatsApp and a simple deal CRM from one vendor, with an API its developers can build on.
Choose HighLevel Agencies and local service businesses that also need calling, AI phone answering, funnels, courses and review requests under their own brand.

Switching

Export contacts from Brevo with their list membership and email and SMS opt-in fields, then import them into a HighLevel sub-account. Export deals separately and recreate them as HighLevel opportunities in matching pipeline stages. Transactional emails sent through Brevo's API will need new code or workflows, so list every system that calls Brevo before cutting over, and keep Brevo active until the new sending setup is tested.

Verdict

Brevo is one of the closer email-first rivals to HighLevel because it already mixes email, SMS, WhatsApp, live chat and a deal CRM, and it gives developers a clean API. What it does not list is phone calling, AI voice agents, funnels, courses or a white-label agency model, which are the parts of HighLevel that agencies tend to resell. We could not verify Brevo's prices, so compare its pricing page for your volume against HighLevel's $97 Starter and $297 Unlimited plans. Pick Brevo for multichannel messaging in one business; pick HighLevel to run many client accounts.

Questions

Is Brevo cheaper than GoHighLevel?
We could not confirm Brevo's current prices: its pricing page builds them in the browser and its help center refused plain requests on 29 September 2026. HighLevel's prices are fixed and public: Starter $97 a month, Unlimited $297 and Agency Pro $497, with email at $0.675 per 1,000 and texts billed by segment. Compare Brevo's quote for your email volume against those numbers.
Does Brevo have a CRM?
Yes. Brevo's developer documentation includes CRM endpoints for deals, alongside contacts, segments and custom objects. HighLevel's CRM covers contacts, companies, custom objects, pipelines and lead scoring, and ties them to calls, texts and calendar bookings. If your sales process is mostly email and chat, Brevo's CRM may be enough; if it runs on phone calls and appointments, HighLevel covers more of it.
Can Brevo send WhatsApp messages like GoHighLevel?
Yes, Brevo's API covers WhatsApp alongside email and SMS. HighLevel also supports WhatsApp in its unified inbox, priced at $10 a month per sub-account plus Meta's message rates, with texting and email in the same thread. Either way you will need a WhatsApp Business setup through Meta, so allow time for that approval before planning a launch date.
Can agencies white-label Brevo?
The Brevo pages we could read do not list a white-label or reseller program, so ask Brevo directly if that matters. HighLevel lets agencies put their own domain and logo on the desktop app, and its plan comparison shows white-labeling on Unlimited and Agency Pro. Agency Pro at $497 a month adds SaaS Mode, which sells client subscriptions and creates sub-accounts automatically after payment.
