Where Pipedrive is stronger

Pipedrive advantages

  • A visual pipeline that reps pick up quickly, with deal card customization from the Lite plan.
  • Premium includes LeadBooster, which combines a chatbot, live chat, Prospector and web forms for lead capture.
  • A large Marketplace of calling and texting apps, including Aircall, JustCall, Kixie and CloudTalk.
  • Growth adds email sequences and forecast reports for teams that manage to a quota.

Where Pipedrive falls short

  • Pipedrive's help center says it has no built-in calling integration, so calls go through Marketplace apps or web to mobile calls.
  • Email campaigns cost extra as the Campaigns add-on, and no funnel or website builder is listed.
  • Sold per seat, while HighLevel includes unlimited users on every plan.
  • No white-label option or client sub-accounts for agencies.

Where HighLevel is stronger

HighLevel puts CRM, funnels, websites, two-way texting, calling, review requests, courses and an AI phone agent in one login, and agencies can put their own brand on it from the Unlimited plan. The trade-off is a steeper learning curve and usage charges on top of the plan, which our cost calculator adds up. For the full picture read our GoHighLevel review.

Who should pick which

Choose Pipedrive B2B sales teams that want a simple, visual pipeline and are happy to add calling and marketing apps around it.
Choose HighLevel Businesses that want calling, texting, email campaigns and landing pages on one bill instead of several connected apps.

Switching

Begin with a full export of deals, people, organizations and activities from Pipedrive. Import people into HighLevel contacts and deals into a pipeline whose stages match your old ones. Automations, LeadBooster forms and chatbot flows have to be rebuilt in HighLevel. If a Marketplace calling app handled your phones, decide whether to keep it or move numbers to HighLevel's phone system, which bills calls by the minute.

Verdict

Pipedrive does one job well: helping salespeople move deals through stages. It stays focused, so extras like email campaigns and calling come from paid add-ons or Marketplace apps. HighLevel covers the pipeline too, but it is broader, with its own phone and texting service, funnels, websites, review requests and courses, and it does not charge per user. A sales team that already has a marketing stack and wants a clean pipeline will be comfortable in Pipedrive. A local business or agency that wants lead capture, follow-up texts and booking in one system will likely get more from HighLevel. Check Pipedrive's live pricing before comparing costs.

Questions

How much does Pipedrive cost compared with GoHighLevel?
Pipedrive sells four plans, Lite, Growth, Premium and Ultimate, priced per seat. Its pricing page blocked our plain HTTP request on 29 Sep 2026, so we do not quote a figure here. HighLevel's prices are flat per account: Starter $97, Unlimited $297 and Agency Pro $497 a month, each with unlimited users. Multiply Pipedrive's current per-seat price by your team size to compare.
Does Pipedrive have built-in calling like GoHighLevel?
No. Pipedrive's help center states that it does not have a built-in calling integration. You can start calls in the web app that ring through on your mobile phone, or connect a Marketplace app such as CloudTalk, Aircall, Kixie or JustCall, some of which also send SMS. HighLevel has its own phone service with numbers, calls, texts, recording and IVR, billed from a prepaid wallet.
Does Pipedrive do email marketing?
Yes, through Campaigns by Pipedrive, which its help center describes as a paid add-on for creating and sending email communication inside your Pipedrive account. Growth and higher plans also include sequences for one-to-one follow-up. HighLevel includes email campaigns and automations on every plan and charges $0.675 per 1,000 emails sent through its own email service.
Is Pipedrive or GoHighLevel better for a marketing agency?
HighLevel is designed for agencies: each client gets its own sub-account, the Unlimited plan allows as many sub-accounts as you need for $297 a month, and you can white-label the app. Pipedrive lists no client sub-account or white-label model, so each client would need a separate Pipedrive subscription. Pipedrive fits better inside one sales team than across a client roster.
