The short answer
Sign in to the agency that should receive the snapshot, open the share link you were sent, rename it if you like and click Import Now. That adds it to your agency's snapshot library. To use it, open a sub-account's Manage Client page, click Actions, then Load Snapshot, pick the snapshot, choose assets and settle any conflicts.
Importing is not the same as loading
HighLevel separates three actions. Sharing creates a link. Importing adds the shared snapshot to your agency-level library. Loading applies chosen assets from it to one sub-account. So an import on its own changes no client account. Your user needs the Share/Import Snapshots permission; if the option is missing, check that user's role and permissions at agency level. A snapshot copies setup such as workflows, funnels, forms, templates and calendars, not live customer records, so contacts still move separately through a CSV import.
Import from a share link or email
Log in to the right agency first, then open the share link (pasting it into a new browser tab works). Review the pop-up, type a new name if you want one and click Import Now. If the sender used an email invitation, open the email and click its import link instead. The snapshot shows in your imported list, greyed out while it processes; wait for it to turn active rather than starting a second import. Failures usually mean the link expired, a one-time link was already used, the link is restricted to another agency or sub-account, or the source snapshot is gone. In each case the fix is a fresh link from the sender.
Load it into a sub-account
From the Agency Dashboard, open Sub-Accounts, click the three-dot menu on the target account and choose Manage Client. Click Actions, then Load Snapshot, open Pick a Snapshot, select it and click Proceed. Tick whole categories or expand them to pick single assets. On the conflict screen, Override replaces the existing item and Skip keeps yours; overrides cannot be undone. Type confirm and click Proceed, and HighLevel emails you when the transfer finishes. A shield icon means some assets are protected: you can use them across your own sub-accounts but cannot share or resell them. Changes the sender makes later are not pushed to you, so ask for a new link.
