The short answer
GoHighLevel AI Studio is a conversational builder that turns a prompt, a live URL or an uploaded screenshot into a working website, landing page, multi-page site, form, booking flow, dashboard, storefront, portfolio or blog inside a sub-account. You refine the result by chatting, by clicking elements in Visual Edits mode or in a built-in code editor, and publish to a preview domain or a custom domain. It is billed by usage per session: HighLevel's examples cost $0.60 for a single landing page, $1.30 for a fashion landing page and $1.10 for a 7-page travel site on pay per use. AI Employee Growth includes usage, and Unlimited includes three times as much.

What goes in and what comes out
AI Studio accepts plain-language prompts, live URLs to borrow a layout or structure from, uploaded images and screenshots, and starter templates for landing pages, dashboards, storefronts and portfolios. It can also ask guided questions about design preferences before building. The output ranges from a single landing page to multi-page projects with interactive pieces such as surveys, forms and booking flows. Treat reference URLs as layout inspiration only: copying another company's text, images or branding creates legal problems no matter which tool produced the page.
Editing and publishing
After the first build, changes happen three ways: follow-up prompts in the chat, Visual Edits mode for selecting an element on the page and changing it directly, and a code editor for anyone who wants exact control. Version history lets you restore an earlier state if a prompt makes things worse. Projects publish first to a preview domain and can then be connected to a custom domain; other connected URLs 301 redirect to the primary domain.
One gotcha matters for lead generation. HighLevel says forms and calendars in an AI Studio project are not connected automatically, so they must be linked to the sub-account's forms and calendars before the page captures leads or bookings. Test a submission before sending traffic. A page that looks finished but quietly drops form fills is worse than no page, because the client pays for the ad clicks and sees no leads arrive in the CRM.
How usage is measured
Cost per session depends on the work involved: reasoning and planning, pages generated, copy, AI images, analysis of reference URLs or images, form and calendar connections, refinements, and publishing and domain setup. AI Studio and Ask AI usage is measured in rolling 5-hour windows, and AI Employee Unlimited allows three times the Growth allowance inside the same window. On pay per use HighLevel sends an alert for every $50 spent; on a subscription, alerts come at 70%, 85% and 100% of included usage. A monthly usage limit can be configured to keep AI running and send an alert, the default, or to block AI at the limit. Limits reset at the start of each calendar month.
Where it fits next to the funnel builder
HighLevel's classic website and funnel builder remains, and its Funnel AI assistant is free, capped at 1,000 prompts a day per location. AI Studio is the better tool for a fast first version of a site from a brief, a competitor-style layout or a screenshot of a sketch, especially when the client wants something custom rather than a template. Access is controlled with two permissions, View AI Studio for read-only access and View and Manage AI Studio for full access, so an agency can let clients look at drafts without letting them spend usage.
