What the program includes
HighLevel's certifications page lists expert-led training courses, hands-on work on real-world tasks, a live proctored exam and, once you pass, the Certified Admin badge. After payment you are enrolled in a private community where the learning material is hosted. Certified members get a place in HighLevel's certified directory, access to a community reserved for certified professionals, extra learning resources, networking and support from HighLevel's team. HighLevel also says members can bid on freelance opportunities that are only open to certified professionals. The pricing guide describes the program as an education offering for building product knowledge and validating HighLevel skills.
Skills badges and staying certified
The Admin badge is the foundation. After it, HighLevel offers specialized skills badges, including A2P Compliance, Course Creator, AI Employee, HIPAA Compliance, Paid Ads, Social Media Manager, Quick Wins, Automated Swag Store and a SaaSpreneur Local Hero badge. The Admin badge lasts two years from the day you pass the proctored exam, but you must earn at least two additional skills badges each year to remain certified. Because a lapsed subscription makes the certification inactive and removes you from the directory, treat the fee as an ongoing cost of staying listed rather than a one-time exam fee.
Monthly or annual billing
Annual billing at $970 equals ten months at $97, so it saves $194 if you keep the certification for a full year. Monthly billing has no long-term commitment, which suits someone who wants to study, pass the exam and then decide whether the directory listing is bringing enquiries. HighLevel mentions separate pricing for teams of more than 15 people. Since renewal depends on earning new skills badges every year, the annual plan only pays off if you plan to keep your badges current rather than certify once and stop.
Who the program suits
The program makes the most sense for freelancers and small agencies that build HighLevel accounts for other businesses: setup, onboarding, automations, workflows, migrations and custom builds. The directory is where people look for that kind of help, so the listing is the main commercial benefit, alongside the freelance opportunities shared with certified members. It matters less to a business owner running a single HighLevel account, who can learn the same features from HighLevel's public help center. Certification shows platform skill; it does not replace the A2P, HIPAA or TCPA obligations that client work still has to meet.
