The short answer
GoHighLevel for dance studios works as one system for calls, texts, bookings, reviews and follow-up. A single dance studio fits on Starter at $97 a month. With our assumed volumes the all-in bill is about $163 a month. An agency running ten dance studios on Unlimited pays about $96 per business.
Dance studios run on parents. They call about which class fits a four year old, how recital costumes are billed and whether their child can join mid-season. Those calls tend to peak around fall and January registration, when the owner is also teaching from mid-afternoon until evening. Missed calls mean empty spots in combo classes, and the admin load of recital fees, costume orders and competition team schedules usually falls on one person with a phone and a spreadsheet.
Why dance studios miss leads
These are the calls and messages a typical dance studio has to catch. Each one is a job, a booking or a sale if someone answers quickly:
- Class placement by age and experience
- Season registration and tuition
- Recital dates, tickets and costume fees
- Competition team auditions
- Makeup classes after an absence
- Trial class for a toddler or preschooler
- Adult classes
Five workflows to build first
- Season registrationA registration form collects each child's age, chosen classes and any notes, sends the tuition and registration fee link, and texts the class start date. Families who start the form but do not finish get a reminder the next day.
- Costume fee remindersBefore costume orders are placed, parents get an email with the fee, due date and measuring guide, then texts until the fee is paid. Paid families are tagged so the reminders stop.
- Recital week messagesEach class has its own recital list that receives dress rehearsal times, arrival instructions and ticket links by email, plus a text on show morning. Separate lists keep every class's call times straight.
- Trial class to enrollmentParents who book a trial for a preschool class get a text afterward with enrollment options for the season. If they have not enrolled within a week, the owner gets a task to call them.
- Competition team updatesTeam families get competition schedules, travel details and fee reminders through their own list, so recreational families are not flooded with messages that do not apply to them.
HighLevel's workflow builder runs all of these, and missed call text back is usually the quickest win.

Adding an AI receptionist
Voice AI can answer the calls above around the clock, book them into the calendar and pass the hard ones to a person. On our assumptions it costs about $0.24 per answered call, phone line included. What the AI should handle, what it should hand to staff and a sample call are in our guide to an AI receptionist for dance studios.
Rules to watch
Consent for recital and promo texts. Recital updates a parent signed up for are informational, but texts selling recital tickets, photos or summer intensives are marketing, and the FCC says commercial texts need written consent. Collect that opt-in on the season registration form from the parent who owns the phone.
Posting photos of students. Recital and class photos make strong marketing, but they show minors. Get written permission from a parent before posting a child's photo in ads, social posts or on the website, and keep that permission noted on the family's contact record.

Jackrabbit Class, DanceStudio-Pro, Akada, Studio Director, Sawyer. Check the HighLevel marketplace or ask HighLevel before assuming any of these connect directly.
Which plan
One dance studio fits on Starter at $97 a month, which includes 3 sub-accounts. Move to Unlimited at $297 if you run more than three locations or brands. Agencies serving many dance studios should compare Unlimited with Agency Pro and SaaS Mode, which lets you resell and mark up usage.
