The short answer
GoHighLevel forms are the drag-and-drop form builder included in every HighLevel plan. A form collects standard contact fields and custom fields such as dates, numbers, money amounts and file uploads, can take payments with order bumps, and starts a workflow the moment it is submitted. Conditional logic shows or hides fields, displays a message, redirects or disqualifies a lead. Forms are shared by link or embed code, submissions land on the contact record, and there is no per-form or per-submission fee.

Fields and design
The builder covers first name, last name, email, phone and message, plus dropdowns, checkboxes, radio buttons and custom fields that can be created and edited without leaving the builder, including date pickers, numbers, monetary values and file uploads. Address autocomplete, a rating element and an Other option on choice fields are documented. Styling runs through themes, brand board colors, custom CSS and inline editing, with a separate mobile editor. Submissions become contacts, and HighLevel's Typeform migration guide notes that HighLevel contacts need an email or phone number, unlike Typeform responses.
Conditional logic
Conditional Logic V2 gives forms four actions: redirect to a URL, display a custom message, disqualify the lead, and show or hide fields. Operators follow the field type, so text fields get contains, starts with and is empty, numbers get greater than, less than and between, and dates get before, after and between. Each rule must use a single connector, either AND or OR, not a mix, and calendar fields are not supported in conditions. The Jump To action that moves between screens belongs to surveys, not forms.
What happens after submit
The Form Submitted trigger starts follow-up in workflows, so a new lead can get a text, an owner alert or a pipeline card within seconds. The form itself can show a confirmation message or redirect to a thank-you page. Each form has a Submissions tab and an Analytics tab with views, responses, average completion time and completion rate. Three newer settings fill gaps that used to need other tools:
- Submission documents: a PDF of each response saved to the contact's Documents, only for submissions after the setting is on
- Scheduled availability: open and close dates in one time zone, with a custom page outside the window (no cap on submission count)
- Save progress: respondents can leave and resume multi-step forms; single-step forms are not supported
Payments and spam protection
Forms can sell products, including donations, and support order bumps. A sub-account can also add a percentage processing charge to form payments, labeled for example as a convenience fee, but HighLevel warns that surcharging is restricted in some jurisdictions and compliance is your responsibility. For spam, HighLevel points to CAPTCHA and email or phone validation to cut automated or invalid submissions.
Costs add up differently for every account. Put your numbers into the HighLevel cost calculator, or browse every HighLevel feature.
