The short answer
GoHighLevel memberships, listed as Courses on HighLevel's pricing page, let a business host and sell online courses inside HighLevel, and they are included in every plan. A course holds modules, lessons, videos up to 5 GB per file, audio, downloads, quizzes, assignments and completion certificates, and is sold as a free, one-time or recurring offer through a connected payment provider. Learners sign in through the Client Portal, which can run on your own domain. HighLevel lists no per-student fee; a branded mobile app for the portal costs $49 a month per sub-account.

What a course can hold
Courses are built from modules and lessons. Lessons can carry video, audio and downloadable files, with course videos up to 5 GB per file and lower limits for other file types. Subtitles upload as .srt files in several languages, a video frame can be picked as the lesson thumbnail, and content can be imported from HighLevel media storage or copied from another course. HighLevel funnels can even be added as lessons, which helps when a lesson needs a form or an interactive page. HighLevel also documents a newer course editor and learner controls such as lesson auto-progression.
Selling access
Access is normally sold through offers priced as free, one-time or recurring, and one offer can bundle several courses. Paid offers need a connected payment provider. Access can also be granted by a workflow, for example after an invoice is paid or a form is submitted, and in-app and one-click upsells are documented for memberships. A newer Course Pricing option sells a course directly without building a separate offer, but as of September 2026 HighLevel was rolling it out to 20% of newly created sub-accounts only, so existing accounts should keep using offers.
Quizzes, drip and certificates
Assessments come in two forms: assignments, which collect submissions without grading, and quizzes with single or multiple choice questions and an optional passing percentage. Learners can retake a quiz. With a passing grade on, they see scores but not correct answers; without it, they see answers and explanations. Admins and instructors can export results, and exports over 500 rows arrive by an emailed link valid for 24 hours. Drip scheduling releases content over time, and invalid drip values such as 0 are blocked. One certificate template can be attached per course and is emailed automatically on completion.
How learners log in
Learners reach their courses in the Client Portal, which runs on a default clientclub.net address or on your own domain through an A record or CNAME, with DNS changes usually taking 24 to 48 hours. Sign-in options include email and password, Sign in with Google, a secure code and customer-specific magic links that skip repeated password entry. Branding covers the portal name, colors, logo and favicon. Businesses that want the portal in its own app store listing pay $49 a month per sub-account for the Branded Client Portal App.
