Sending review requests

Requests go out by SMS (needs the customer's phone number), email (needs a valid address) or WhatsApp (needs a WhatsApp-enabled number). If a contact is missing the chosen channel, HighLevel picks one that is available. Each channel reports sent, opened and clicked requests, and the message templates, cadence, retries and review link are set in reputation settings. HighLevel notes that request limits may vary by subscription, so check the account settings before planning a large backlog send. New sub-accounts get a guided setup wizard; it appears only once and cannot be reopened after it finishes.

Monitoring reviews beyond Google and Facebook

Google Business Profile and Facebook connect directly. Beyond those, HighLevel supports pages on 52 review platforms, including Yelp, TripAdvisor, Amazon, Airbnb, Booking.com, Glassdoor, Indeed and industry sites such as Healthgrades, Avvo and DoorDash. You add a valid public review page URL, and there is no limit on how many pages you connect per platform. New pages can take time for the first sync. Workflow triggers fire on new Google and Facebook reviews and can filter by star rating, source and spam status, which makes it simple to alert a manager about any one-star review within minutes.

Reviews AI: suggestive, auto-pilot and drip

In suggestive mode, Reviews AI offers up to four reply drafts per review for free, and extra generations cost $0.01 each. Auto-pilot mode replies on its own, with responses set by star rating and a wait time before each reply posts. Drip mode works through an old backlog of unanswered reviews gradually rather than publishing hundreds of replies at once. On pay per use you are billed $0.01 once for each AI-assisted reply that is actually sent; retries do not add charges, and a suggestion you substantially rewrite counts as a manual reply. Review widgets and video testimonials

Review widgets come in carousel, grid and list styles, pull in synced Google and Facebook reviews, and are responsive on mobile. They embed on almost any website through a code snippet, and edits made later update the live widget automatically. Video testimonials use branded collector links sent by email, SMS or WhatsApp; customers record or upload from a phone or desktop without an app. Each submission can run up to 2 minutes 30 seconds, a collector can ask up to three questions, and a location can have unlimited collectors. Videos can publish automatically or wait for your approval.

Costs and gotchas

The reputation tools themselves cost nothing extra, but each text request is an SMS billed at LC Phone rates plus carrier fees, and each email request uses LC Email credits. For US texting the sub-account's number must pass A2P 10DLC registration first, which has its own one-time and monthly fees. Before switching on auto-pilot replies, write clear rules for negative reviews: a public AI reply to a complaint is visible to every future customer, and some businesses, such as healthcare providers, must avoid confirming anyone is a patient.
