The short answer
GoHighLevel connects to Zapier through an app called LeadConnector, which HighLevel describes as its official, white-labeled Zapier connection. You sign in with your HighLevel CRM login rather than an API key, then pick one sub-account for that connection. Zapier lists a Pipeline Stage Changed trigger and actions such as Add/Update Contact, Add/Update Opportunity, Add Lead to Workflow and Add Task. HighLevel lists no fee for the connection; Zapier's plan sets your task limits, and webhook-based Zaps need a paid Zapier plan.
| Plans | All plans. Each connection is scoped to one sub-account. Creating sub-accounts through Zapier uses the public API and needs Agency Pro. |
|---|---|
| Cost | No HighLevel fee listed; Zapier's own pricing applies. Optional Whitelabel Zap service $50/month. HighLevel webhook steps are premium actions at $0.01 per execution after 100 free. |

Why the app is called LeadConnector
Search Zapier for HighLevel and you will not find an app by that name. HighLevel publishes its Zapier app as LeadConnector, its white-label brand, so agencies can build Zaps without clients seeing the HighLevel name. The connection uses your HighLevel CRM login: you sign in from Zapier, then choose which sub-account the connection belongs to. That scoping keeps each client's data separate. To automate a second client, add another LeadConnector connection in Zapier, pick the other sub-account, and switch the account used in the relevant Zaps. Connections are managed or removed from Zapier's App Connections page.
Triggers and actions on Zapier
Zapier's LeadConnector page lists one trigger, Pipeline Stage Changed, and actions to add or update a contact, add or update an opportunity, add a lead to a workflow, stop all workflows for a lead, and add a task. That set covers the most common job: taking leads from a form tool, scheduling app or ad platform that HighLevel does not connect to natively, dropping them into a pipeline, and letting a HighLevel workflow handle the texts and emails. For events outside that list, such as a form submission or a payment, a HighLevel workflow can post its data out through a webhook to Zapier's Catch Hook trigger.
Webhooks: the two-way route
HighLevel's guide to webhooks with Zapier covers both directions. Outbound, a HighLevel workflow sends its data to a Zapier Catch Hook, and the Zap passes it to any other app. Inbound, Webhooks by Zapier posts data to a URL generated by HighLevel's Inbound Webhook trigger, which starts a HighLevel workflow. Both HighLevel webhook steps are premium workflow features, billed at $0.01 per execution after each sub-account's 100 free lifetime executions, and Zapier's webhook steps need a paid Zapier account. The guide also warns that an inbound workflow must create or find a contact before other actions, or it breaks.
Creating sub-accounts with Zapier
Agencies that sell through their own checkout sometimes use Zapier to open a new sub-account when a customer pays. HighLevel's guide builds this as a multi-step Zap that calls the public API, creates the location, assigns users and can load one or more snapshots into the new account. HighLevel says this requires the Pro plan, meaning Agency Pro at $497 a month. On that plan, SaaS Mode can also create sub-accounts automatically after payment through HighLevel's own checkout, which removes Zapier from the chain entirely.
The Whitelabel Zap service
HighLevel also sells a done-for-you option called Whitelabel Zap for $50 a month. Its pricing guide describes HighLevel's team creating a Zap with your agency branding that syncs more leads into your white-labeled HighLevel account. It is a service, not a requirement: the LeadConnector app works for any Zap you build yourself. It fits an agency that wants a branded lead-sync Zap without building one, and the $50 should be weighed against the Zapier subscription you will be paying for anyway.
