Moving a site without losing search traffic
The main risk in switching is broken URLs. Keep the old page paths where you can, and set a 301 redirect for every URL that changes so visitors and search engines land on the new page. Bring blog posts across with HighLevel's URL or CSV import rather than retyping them, then submit the new XML sitemap in Google Search Console. When you connect a root domain, HighLevel can add the www version with a 301 to the root. Move one small site first and watch its traffic for a few weeks before migrating client sites.
What to weigh before you switch
Your site lives inside your HighLevel subscription. HighLevel keeps canceled account data for 90 days and then deletes it, so a lapsed account takes the website with it, and a domain bought through HighLevel needs a release request to move elsewhere.
