The short answer
Generally no. HighLevel's Terms of Service say all fees are non-refundable, including subscription fees and communication charges, and that unused or canceled prepaid services are not refunded. They also say that, except where the law requires otherwise, HighLevel may issue or deny a refund or credit at its sole discretion. Requests go to its billing team at billing@gohighlevel.com or (888) 732-4197, option 2.
What the Terms of Service say
The refund rules sit in HighLevel's Terms of Service, last updated June 2026. Read together, they leave little room for an automatic refund, but they do not rule one out, because HighLevel keeps the discretion to grant a refund or a credit. A few items, such as taxes and some add-ons once they are switched on, are singled out as never refundable. The relevant rules, in plain terms:
- All fees are non-refundable, including subscription fees, communication surcharges and resold third-party services
- Unused or canceled prepaid services are non-refundable, though HighLevel may give account credit for future services at its discretion
- Some add-ons cannot be canceled or refunded once HighLevel has enabled them on your account
- Taxes are non-refundable
- No refunds or credits for excess fees caused by your own error or a third party's
- Any leftover wallet balance is refunded only if you request it
How to ask for a refund
Refund requests and billing disputes are reviewed by HighLevel's billing team rather than general support. Email billing@gohighlevel.com or call 1-888-732-4197 and choose option 2. The billing FAQ asks you to include your agency name, the email you log in with, your Agency Relationship Number if you have one, a short explanation of the problem, and the invoice or payment details. Nothing in the Terms promises a refund, so a clear, documented request made soon after the charge gives you the best chance.
Getting your wallet balance back
The wallet that pays for texts, calls, email and AI is separate from your subscription, and its credits cannot be used to pay the plan fee. When you cancel, any balance left in it is not returned automatically. The Terms make it your job to request a refund of that amount, and anything still in the wallet more than 30 days after cancellation becomes HighLevel's property. Free promotional credits that HighLevel adds to a wallet have no cash value and expire after 90 days.
Avoiding charges you would want back
The easiest refund is the one you never need to request. Set a reminder for day 13 of the 14 day trial, cancel from Settings, then Billing before it ends, and keep the confirmation. Pick annual billing only once you know which plan you will keep, since a yearly plan cannot be switched back to monthly in the app. Downgrading does not cancel add-ons, marketplace apps or phone numbers, so remove the ones you no longer need yourself before the next billing date.
