The short answer
It depends where the snapshot comes from. Creating, saving and sharing your own snapshots carries no separate fee in HighLevel's help articles; it is part of the platform. Snapshots sold on the App Marketplace are priced by whoever lists them, who can make them free, freemium, or a one-time, monthly or yearly purchase. HighLevel does not publish a standard snapshot price.
What a snapshot is
HighLevel describes snapshots as reusable templates that capture selected configuration from a sub-account so it can be copied into new or existing sub-accounts. That can include workflows, funnels, forms, calendars, dashboards, campaigns, custom fields and templates. It does not carry live data: contacts, appointments, conversations, integrations, Stripe connections and phone numbers assigned to Voice AI agents are left out, and HighLevel notes that some assets need extra setup after import.
Your own, shared and paid snapshots
The help articles on selling snapshots do not say what share of a marketplace sale HighLevel keeps, so the seller's listed price is the figure to judge. Buyers push a purchased snapshot straight into their sub-accounts from the HighLevel dashboard. Ask the seller what the price includes, such as updates, support or setup help, because that varies from one seller to the next.

- Shared by link: permanent, one-time, email, agency-restricted or sub-account-restricted links, with no fee listed for sharing or importing
- Marketplace snapshots: price set by the seller, from free to one-time, monthly or yearly
- HighLevel's industry library: the pricing FAQ mentions pre-built snapshot accounts for industries such as real estate, dentists and gyms, with no separate price shown
Costs that start after the import
A snapshot copies setup, not running costs. Once its workflows send texts and emails, those are billed at normal usage rates: $0.00747 per text segment plus carrier fees and $0.675 per 1,000 emails. Voice AI agents in a snapshot still need a phone number and are billed per minute or through an AI Employee plan, and premium workflow actions cost $0.01 per execution. Read every workflow in a snapshot you buy before publishing it, so you know which ones message contacts automatically.
