The short answer

GoHighLevel for pizzerias works as one system for calls, texts, bookings, reviews and follow-up. A single pizzeria fits on Starter at $97 a month. With our assumed volumes the all-in bill is about $279 a month. An agency running ten pizzerias on Unlimited pays about $212 per business.

Many pizzerias still take a big share of orders by phone, and the line rings loudest when the kitchen is slammed: Friday nights, big game days and school event weekends. A caller who hears a busy signal or waits on hold for three minutes often dials a chain instead. Getting orders right matters too, with half-and-half toppings, crust choices and delivery addresses shouted over a loud kitchen. Most independent shops also have a base of regulars they never text about specials.

Why pizzerias miss leads

These are the calls and messages a typical pizzeria has to catch. Each one is a job, a booking or a sale if someone answers quickly:

  • Delivery or pickup order
  • Whether an address is in the delivery zone
  • Today's specials and deals
  • Order status and delivery time
  • Large orders for parties or teams
  • Gluten-free crust and ingredient questions

Five workflows to build first

  1. Busy line to online orderWhen the line is busy, missed callers get a text within a minute with the shop's own online ordering link and today's special, so the order still comes to you instead of going to a delivery app.
  2. Big order pipelineTeam parties, school events and office orders over a set size become opportunities with the date, pizza count and delivery time. The manager confirms by text, and a reminder goes out the day before so dough is prepped.
  3. Game day pre-ordersBefore big games, a text broadcast goes to regulars who opted in with the deal and a pre-order link. Pre-orders spread the rush across the afternoon instead of all landing at kickoff.
  4. Lapsed regular win-backCustomers tagged as regulars from phone orders logged in HighLevel who have not ordered in six weeks get a comeback offer by text. Replies route to the shared inbox, where staff can take the order right away.
  5. Review request after deliveryAn hour after an order logged in HighLevel, every customer gets a text asking how the pizza was, with a Google review link. Any reply that mentions a problem also alerts the manager so it gets fixed quickly.

HighLevel's workflow builder runs all of these, and missed call text back is usually the quickest win.

What it costs

Our assumptions for a typical pizzeria: 1800 calls a month answered by Voice AI at 2.5 minutes each, 1,500 text segments and 3,000 emails. These are starting points, not measured data.

Line One pizzeria on Starter Agency, 10 on Unlimited (per business)
Plan $97 $29.70
Number and A2P fees $2.65 $2.65
Texts with carrier fees $17.51 $17.51
Phone minutes for AI calls $62.91 $62.91
Email $2.03 $2.03
Voice AI (AI Employee Unlimited ($97)) $97.00 $97.00
Total per month $279 $212

Adding an AI receptionist

Voice AI can answer the calls above around the clock, book them into the calendar and pass the hard ones to a person. On our assumptions it costs about $0.09 per answered call, phone line included. What the AI should handle, what it should hand to staff and a sample call are in our guide to an AI receptionist for pizzerias.

Rules to watch

Payment by link, not by voice. The AI should never collect card numbers. PCI guidance says card security codes must not be stored after authorization, and searchable recordings holding them must not be kept at all. Have the AI text a payment link for prepaid delivery, or collect payment at the door or counter.

Promo text consent. Game day deals and weekly specials sent by text are commercial messages, and the FCC says those need the customer's written consent. Add a checkbox to your online order page, never text numbers pulled from old tickets, and stop immediately when someone replies stop.

General information, not legal advice. Check the rules for your state with a qualified professional.

Software pizzerias often use

Toast, Slice, HungerRush, SpotOn, Square, DoorDash. Check the HighLevel marketplace or ask HighLevel before assuming any of these connect directly.

Which plan

One pizzeria fits on Starter at $97 a month, which includes 3 sub-accounts. Move to Unlimited at $297 if you run more than three locations or brands. Agencies serving many pizzerias should compare Unlimited with Agency Pro and SaaS Mode, which lets you resell and mark up usage.

Questions

How much does GoHighLevel cost for a pizzeria?
About $279 a month on our assumptions: the Starter plan at $97, and usage for 1800 AI-answered calls, 1,500 texts and 3,000 emails. Change the numbers in the calculator to match your pizzeria.
Can a pizzeria use GoHighLevel for online ordering?
HighLevel has an e-commerce store and order forms, but they are general tools rather than a restaurant ordering system with kitchen tickets and driver dispatch. Most pizzerias keep ordering in their POS or a service like Slice, and use HighLevel for texting regulars, reviews, big order leads and the missed call text that points to the ordering link.
How does a pizzeria build a text list of regulars?
Add a texting opt-in to your online order page and put a QR code on pizza boxes that opens a short signup form. HighLevel creates both the QR code and the form, and each signup lands in a list you can text on slow Tuesdays or before big games.
Can HighLevel run a pizza loyalty program?
HighLevel includes loyalty programs in its payments tools, next to gift cards. Whether it fits depends on how purchases get recorded, since points have to be tied to orders, so check the setup against your POS during the 14 day trial before you promote it to customers.
Which plan fits a pizzeria with two shops?
Starter at $97 a month, with one sub-account per shop. Each shop gets its own phone number, missed call text, reviews and customer list, and the third sub-account covers a future location. Unlimited at $297 is meant for agencies or groups with more than three stores.
